My husband got his watch after waiting for nearly a year. I stole it and took some pictures. I have never photographed watches before. Please let me know what you think so I can apply it next time! Thanks

I like the watch, but it may have been more appealing on the background. Maybe a crimson red, grayish blue, or even a dark gray.

maybe in color and with a colored back ground? The second hand and a little lettering is in red. I am drawn to BW but maybe watches are meant to be in color?
Thanks!

They dont have to be in color, that is just my opinion. If you want to do it B&W I would suggest either a white, dark gray, or black background. But this is just my opinion.

If you do it with a black background and the same lighting, try turning it 90 degrees clockwise in post processing.

Wow, I think that is great! But here is the real question, what do you think of it?

Thank you! The most difficult thing for me is deciding if its good, or if I just like it because I took it. I like it a lot more with the revisions, thank you for your help. I really appreciate it. Without them I wouldnt have come up with that ;)

hey the watch looks really cool once flipped...they usually are like that in ads so the name is always easily legible. but youre forgetting one small thing. take a look at a few ads and see if you can figure it out.

I might also suggest that the watch band continues on the (currently) top.

this is really making me want to shoot a watch photo. That's one of the first things I am going to do when I get my camera back from repair. Thank you for the inspiration Newatthis!
