Thanks for all the efforts guys.

Just received an email today (30th) about the strap - and as previous user would have been very disappointed to miss out on the customised model. So have ordered 2 a.s.a.p. A great buy since they will be approx 20 GBP (~36 USD) each in the U.K.+ P&P.

In use, the strap is great and takes the load of an old metal 35mm F1N with a motor drive (inc. 12 AA cells!) no problem. The suspension effect is great. The dimples underneath the 'over the shoulder section' gives a good grip. (Maybe due to this large load ! ... )

Also, the loop ends on the camera have a male OR a female quick clip, so you can clip these together to make a short carrying handle; likewise the ends of the removed longer section of the strap can clip together to and I roll it up, to save space in the gadget bag, if the camera is on a tripod.

My eventual intention was to buy additional pairs of loops/system connectors, (see http://****/dqo5 (external link)) and fit out different cameras with the appropriate sets - they retail for around 8 or 9 GBP per pair, depending on type. Assume less in the U.S

Only slight problem? The strap tends to get a wee bit 'sticky' around the neck due to the foam backing in warm weather.

Cheers from Scotland

These are GREAT! Thank goodness for the email from Pekka or I might have missed out on this. I just placed my order and am looking forward to carrying my camera more comfortably in the not-too-distant-future. Ordering was fast and easy!

Thanks to all for the work done to make this happen!

Bummer...after trying to check out, Paypal says I'm not a valid user. Turns out you MUST use M$ Internet Exploder to order as other browser are NOT recognized!

If you order a few extra straps, I'll trust you and send cash (don't tell my wife).

I am using Internet Explorer and it will not let me check out. So it must be a problem on the order page.

The dates along with the running count for the bulk purchase are being updated regularly on the first post on this thread. We are currently estimating a ship date of April 20th, and now that we are easily passing 500 orders, it may take a few days to get all these out.

I'm not sure why a couple of users are now having problems ordering, though. There have been about 25-30 orders placed every couple of minutes over the past hour. I purposely kept the page as simple as possible, didn't put any browser specific code in there, and tested with Firefox and IE. It's just a basic web form that posts the data to a secure paypal screen. If you have cookies disabled you might have a problem, though.

We will be ordering some extras though for people that are having problems, mainly from certain countries that paypal does not support, and we'll post information on that after the regular ordering ends.

What version are you using? I tried several browsers but only IE displayed the checkout with credit card option. Will not use that 'cause it is not my computer and I don't have Windows on mine.
