For some reason, my purchase of the strap doesn't seem to want to go through. When I click, I'm sent to a paypal checkout page that says my cart is empty. Nor can I purchase by the credit card method. Since we're very near the April 1 deadline, I'd appreciate some help in making the purchase of one strap.

Thanks very much.

'Add to cart' should show you the paypal cart either in another window, or in another tab if you have Firefox configured to work that way. If your cart is empty, you most likely have cookies disabled. Try enabling cookies, placing the order, and then disable cookies again to work around that problem.

wow, last update says 576 straps ordered.... that's well over $11,000
OpTech is gonna love us

They could show that by sponsoring the site to reduce the cost for Pekka. They would get huge value for money if a small logo was placed in the top right hand side of the layout - opposite the forum logo.

When I asked my wife if I could order one, she said, "You're a dork," and rolled her eyes. I took that as a yes. I can't wait to get mine.

LOL--Tell her a woman is buying one too (oh, but maybe I'm a 'dork' too LOL)---and already has 2 Optech straps---which I love. I just got the email from Pekka--and don't know how I missed it before. Glad I saw it--they are terrific straps and I have 2 on 2 bodies, so this will give me one for the 3rd body.

Way to go---for organizing this

As graphical designer and professor of three-dimensional design applied to architecture, industrial engineering and urbanism, single I can say that the logo is very bad, it express anything, neither meant corporative nor operative nor nothing, is insipid, my nephew (it is ten years old) would do the one best one in 3 minutes, I feel to be so hard with the logo and therefore with its creator and gentlemen who have chosen it, but that is the truth. :(

It wanted that nobody was bothered by my declarations, if it is thus, excuse me, single say my opinion like professional.

Sorry you don't like it, but where were you when we were designing it?

OBTW, your English is very hard to understand.

But thanks for stopping by . . .

Have Fun,

I guess it pays to advertise. I had forgotten about this site until I got the email from Pekka about the strap. I've heard good things about the Op-Tech strap and decided to get on the band wagon and order one from this site. Looking forward to hooking it up to my 10D.

Cool!

Gene

The fact that it is the Logo of this site, that we all love so much is obviously beneath your elitest attitude to recognize that. The fact that it will be easily recognized by the true and dedicated members, also is totaly missed by you. I for one like it and can't wait to be noticed wearing it with my camera. So in that regard it is a good logo, it does what it is intended to do. I now, for one doubt your credentials. and that is my opinion as a professional...
