I don't think this kind of friendly visit should be put on "film" I could see the headlines now. "Complainer Attacked by Angry Photographers" and then punchlines on Leno, "The lens don't go in there!!"

Go ahead and credit the money back to anyone who is unhappy about waiting. I will buy their strap.

I'd buy a couple few extra if needed to help out. Share the load, many hands make light work, or something like that.

Hmm, I think there may need to be some kind of contest this summer....

First person to snap a picture of someone you don't already know wearing the strap wins! Or whoever snaps the most strap wearing members? (Of course any kind of board meet up would have to be off limits.)

Thanks for looking!

Wouldn't you really like to meet these people in person that are complaining, force them to read the entire thread, and then ask them what the heck they were thinking? Especially people that only ordered a week ago, or those like cocasana who come from the future to cause trouble?
;)
Thank you Philip for putting up with all this. I for one am extremely grateful. And the longer I wait, the more happy I will be when the strap does arrive! Oooh the excitement. It's like xmas!
I also can't wait to see someone on the street with one of these straps! That will be cool.
I'm all for starting an account to give donations to pass on to Philip for his troubles.

WOW, that's terrible....
I understand being unpatient but going all the way to filing a complaint (refusing to deal with it in a civilized matter) is beyond belief. What an @ss
I doubt you'll be able to do anything about that, I've gone through something similar with e-bay and haven't resolved anything, even though i was scammed, lost my money, and still, I was the one who got a negative feedback, and eventually the user was banned from e-bay and still nothing was resolved.

Anyway, I hope you have better luck Phil, cause you certainly do not derserve that.

Ironic that the raging success of this venture (so many straps ordered) is the thing that is causing the delays from the original date

Its unfortunate, but PayPal probably is not interested in our delays. However, it is another argument for selling to members only.

Have Fun,

Rick

Just refund any complainers money to them. At the end of the shippin, post how many extra straps you have and they'll be snapped up by REAL members in no time at all.

It's really not that big of a deal. Pretty soon we will all have our straps and it will all be worth it in the end, especially for me after I start cashing in on all those free beers that toddb mentioned earlier, each time I see someone wearing a POTN strap. :D

Phil, Just make sure that you don't run into a bunch of us all at the same time... you'll need the cool version of belmondo's "L" lens so they don't go warm. :D:D

Thank you so much Phil, and everyone else who is helping with the POTN strap project, for all your hard work. It is incredible how monumental this project turned out to be.

Peka, I truly hope that in the end, you actually make enough money to help defray the cost of running this forum.

We can never repay the time you all have invested! THANK YOU!!!!

I look forward to wearing my strap with pride...

Edit: As "elbirth" pointed out: Peka runs the forum. My apologies. I edited my text so that it is now, hopefully, correct.
