Just going over some shots from this fall.....(kinda slow here in NY - cold, dark).

Anyway....just wondering how these shots came out.

Nice shots.

When I lived in Syracuse (Liverpool actually) we would go out this time of year to shoot the small falls in the area because they were frozen.

That first shot looks like Chittenango.

I love the effect of the water, it almosts looks like cold smoke falling down over the rocks. Slow shutter speeds for the win.

1st shot is lovely. Although maybe a bit dark. Have you tried lightening up on the trees?

Nope, not Chittenango, but I have been there for some photo-opts - very nice falls.

This was taken up in the northern part of the state (Adirondacks). Not sure of the river, I'll have to look it up.

I did darken the second shot a bit, because the right side was a bit washed out. I could try to play around with it some more and see if I could lighten up the left side while keeping the right side darker.
