Hi all,

Just curious as what you first camera was or is.

I started out back in the 80's(be gentle!), with a Canonet G-III 17 with a Canolite D flash that I took from my dad. I then graduated to an AE-1 Program that I used until 2003!

Good or bad, let's hear what camera you started this wonderful journey with!

I started off with a Kodak Disc 4000 that was handed down to me from my mother.

I can't say it enough. I'm so glad to be done with film.

My first 35mm was an Olympus XA (1982 I think) with the little side flash attachment. The focusing was a bit of a pain. Should have kept it - sold it at a garage sale years ago...
Know what I miss - the old flash-cube cameras!! :)

I have a photographic memory, just wish I'd remember to take the lens cap off more often!

Canon Rebel G. I loved taking pictures, but I hated, HATED waiting for the pictures to arrive. So, I was ecstatic when I got my Rebel XT.

The first camera I picked up was my dad's Zenit-E. I love that camera. It's ironic because most people my age(18 ) don't really know what film even is. And now aside from digital for normal stuff. I still do medium format 120 film for a lot of things(the only reason why i can afford it though is that I work in a camera shop and I get a lot of discounts.)

I started out in highschool when I found my parents dusty Pentax K1000 + 50mm and 135mm primes in our basement. Film for me :)

Damn! I wish I would have kept my AE-1 Program. What a great camera.

Back in 1976. I bought a Canon EX-auto. Came with 3 screw-on lenses. A 35mm, 50mm, and a 135mm.
By the way, this is my first post. Been watching for about a month now. Great forum with a lot of talent.

My first camera was given to me by my grandparents, a Polaroid SX-70. I still have it... somewhere.
