I got the Opteka grip for the XSi. I like it a lot, especially since it doesn't have the "CANON" stamped on the front, which I think is a little redundant labeling when it's attached to the camera with Canon on it anyway. Just a cleaner look IMO.
It functions perfectly, except that the click wheel to adjust shutter speed and aperture on the grip, in the vertical position, is "soft." It doesn't have as defined of a "click" to it as the one on the camera, and I assume, on genuine Canon grips.
Has anyone taken it apart and fixed this? I know there's not much do-it-yourself work on here other than making diffusers for lenses, but has anyone taken apart this grip and fixed the problem?
