I have read many posts on here and the stickys regarding tripods. Based on what I have read and feedback from friends I have ordered a Gitzo GT3531S. Now I am still not sure on the head to go with it. I have a 5D2 and the biggest lens I own currently is the 100-400L. I know I want a ballhead and am looking at Acratech GV2, RRS BH-55LR or Markins M-20. What I am seeking is information direct from users of each so I can see what will work best for my application. Currently most all of my tripod work will be landscape and wildlife.

Thanks for any feedback

Markins M20. It is a pound lighter than the BH55. It just seems wrong to put something one pound heavier on the 3530/40 legs.

I'm not a fan of the Acratech.
