A local store is selling out their seemless paper background overstock, and everything except black and white are 50% off. Seeing as they're already the cheapest place in town I thought I should buy a few. The backgrounds in question are from Condor Foto
, although the reseller
I go to don't have all of the ones in the link.
First of all, one thing I'd like to experiment with is a green screen, but none of them are called "chroma green". Does this matter at all in post processing (meaning is photoshop "tuned" to work with a specific green color)? If it's not that critical do you think I should go with a light, medium or darker green?
I'm thinking about buying a brown background because I havn't found an easy way to replicate that color with my b/w paper.
Also, I shoot quite a lot with a blue filter on black background. Would I have any benefits from buying a blue background? I would still have to light it with a flash to get that glowing light going.
If I have white and black paper, do you think I would have any use with a shade of grey? The grey is simple to achive with the white paper.
I should mention I do this only for fun, even as an amatuer photographer the studio stuff is just a thing on the side to my other photographic interests.
Any opinions? =)
