I have been looking around for a nice quality folder for presenting my printed photographs to potential customers etc.

Is there a common size that most photographers use? Would a box-type folder with loose mounted photographs be better than some sort of binder with sleeves? I would like something of good quality without getting too silly with the cost!

I have seen them in 14" x 11" size to take mounted A4 prints and thought that looked like a good idea.

Any comments or recommendations on a suitable UK supplier would be welcomed.

Thanks,

Mike

Portfolios Plus (external link) do a great range and will even custom make to your spec if you like. I have also found their service to be pretty good in the past.

I use full size 11 x 14 prints in a simple leather binder, it's worth paying a few extra pounds to get the sleeves too.

Cheers

Cris.
