I am doing an upcoming four hour Bridal show and I'm required to offered a "door prize"...setup a box for registration, etc. I was just looking for ideas on what to offer as a prize. Here's what I thought of of the top of my head...but just pfishing for ideas from others that may have done this.

I wanted to keep the offer centered around things associated with weddings.

  • Bridal portrait session
  • Engagement portrait session (though I offer this in my packages)

I did think of both of these, but I am already going to offer a discount for those that book during this Show, aside from this door prize.

Since this is a prize anyone can win, regardless if they book me for their wedding, then giving away free prints to parents won't work....unless the winner actually booked me earlier.

hmm......

IMHO you should go with engagement session + maybe a couple of prints, it will cost you some time and a few $ for prints, but will make good impression. If they book you for wedding/and you offer engagement session with the package just offer extra pages in album/album upgrade, extra prints, maybe a dvd slideshow, maternity/child photos for later on;) Just my 2 cents.

I was just invited to attend a bridal show here next month. I will be offering a free bridal session since it seems not many folks do that around here - it's something different for the area and would stand out.

If it turns out to be someone who has already booked you offer a 'one year anniversary' portrait session - its a great way to get your clients back in front of your camera after the wedding.
