PM01 Goldmember 1,188 posts Joined Dec 2007 Location: USA! More info | The 5dm2 does a decent job for most things. I shoot college and high school womens gymnastics. On the really fast moving stuff, the 5dm2 can't and won't keep up. That's where the 1dm3 body comes out. But on the slower moving stuff, the 5dm2 does fine. This is with the 200/2.0 L EF IS lens - and that's probably Canons FASTEST focusing lens.

PM01 Goldmember 1,188 posts Joined Dec 2007 Location: USA! More info | Nope. You're on the right track with the center point, but when the exposure was taken, it focused on the player that was up front, not the one holding the ball. He must have gotten in the way at the last second!
