I looked thru my bird book but couldn't find it...I guess I'm missing it but any help would be greatly appreciated, please excuse crummy pic.

Looks like a dark-eyed junko, slate coloured race.

The females are lighter. But I thought these were cold weather birds. Never thought they would go as far South as Georgia. :)

Well if they're in Ga, maybe there's hope for me seeing one in lower Alabama. According to Sibley's the junco's do come this far in the winter.....but I sure haven't seen any. Very nicely done shot.

its cold when its 25 degrees there
yup darked eyed junco throw the seed on the ground the like better

All the way to GA? Where is global warming when you need it?
We hit all time record low last night -34f, and thats not with the wind chill.
