with my MKII. With prices dipping so low on a used MKII i had to pull the triger, so i sold my 20d this morning and ordered a MKII this afternoon, gotta love keh.com 8-). I can't wait to see the difference in the AF system for bird in flight shots and to feel the buld quality. I am also curious to see how the af will improve on my sigma 24-70 ex, it was good on my 20d with some practice, so i hope it will be even better on my MKII until i can upgrade to the L. A couple silly questions,

I couln't find a manual for the MKII, so i got the one for the N, is there any difference in the functions of the two (as far as the manual is concerned)?

Do you have to have both an SD and CF card to be able to shot?

I can't wait for it to show up.....

I've seen some pretty impressive shots with the MKII and a 400L. It just isolated the subject so well. I can't wait to get the better autofocus and 8.3 fps. Be sure to post up some samples!

EDIT: You have some AMAZING eagle shots. I'm so jealous. I've only ever seen 2 eagles here in California. 1 bald and 1 golden. I have better luck up in Montana but I hear eagle are all over the place up there.

Lucky dog. Now you could even pick up a TC and still have AF. Time to change your gear list:)

I am selling my tc's so that i can upgrade to the canon version for the weather sealing, but it will be nice to be able to add the 1.4 and keep AF.

That is so true!! Plus i always have it shipped to my work, and i know that they usually show up at 4pm, so if they are not there by 4:02 i start pacing back and forth on the shipping dock. :D but it is fun to check and recheck the tracking information.
