Photo tax from today ... I know none of you guys will appreciate them but a girl needs more practical shoes ;) We need more chicks in this thread.

QUOTED IMAGE

I'm a girl!
They are pretty, but much better on a shelf (or someone else's feet) than on my feet....reminds me of forms of torture.

Give me a pair of docs or bushwalking boots anyday, I even had my salsa dancing shoes custom made sans-heels. They thought I was strange...

Just a question to Mark III owners. I believe the original AF issues were regarding Al-Servo on subjects which were moving in the direction (either away or towards) of the optical axis. So that means the Mark III has never had any issues in One-Shot. Is that correct?

Nope. One of my mates had one that refused to get good focus on stationary objects.

Ok, where's a good place in Brisbane to get a 5DMkII (Australian stock) ?

PhotoCont and Teds both have it at $3,995 (same as Quality Camera in WA).

D-D have it for $3,785 but that's grey.

Best lens ever, or the second best, can't decide if I prefer it or my 24-70... But yeah, best tele zoom evar :p

Keep in mind though that sigma is rumoured to be releasing a 70-200 2.8 OS, which I would imagine might be nice.... (cheaper...)

Sheeeit. That would be awesome. I'm so happy with my 24-70 EX DG Macro but to have that Sigma lens with their IS would just rock.

Hey Kristin. I like the shot of pumps number 2.
Funny thing about heels, I spied a young lass on my commute that I often see as we take the same train to Kensington each morning and arvo.

Magnificent velvet blue pumps on this morning. This afternoon she was back in flats. LOL!

Which might not be much. :p

I figure that the people at the gym all think I'm weird, but I'm just looking at things through a photographers eyes :-)

Nah mate. Windows are tinted. :P
We literally walk down the same streets every morning from the same train and take the same train into the city during the arvo. No one else is as consistent on my commute. She couldn't keep up our usual brisk pace this morning though.

The only fella who comes close is the blind guy who catches the bus in the morning from the bus stop around the corner from home but that's only every other week and only for 3 days. If we're running late I'll run the 200 metres or so to the stop which is his cue to start running too when he's in the same predicament.

He's damned accurate for a blind fella. Kind of like Ray Charles in the Blues Brothers without the mouth.

Just taking the piss buddy. :p

There's always one or two people on commutes you see daily. I used to catch the train to work, and you'd always see the same cars in the same spots on the same streets on the way to the station.

Definitely one of the best movies ever too.

And secondly, would it fire off a 400D? Obviously none of the TTL features will work...

I'd imagine so - my SB-600 and SB-26 both fire off the 400D.

How bizarre is this - SEN just played the:

Elwood: "It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses.

Jake: "Hit it."

Awesome.
