Ah Frequency Smequecy:wink:

Two reasons:

1) It's legal, and

2) greater range.

cheers, juice (Canon shooter, Elinchrom lighter, but pretty much agnostic on brands.)

More great news on the new PW front: http://blog.snapfactory.com/?p=643 (external link)

He says he's tested it with 550EXs, and it works! Oh yeah!!!!

It's a bit gushy, but worth reading. I'm sure glad I did! (Yes, stuck in Lonnie with no 3G. Why do you ask?) I think I'll go back to reading my AFL book...

If anyone's bored, I just posted an e-shoot on my blog.

Great shots Luke. Speaking of your blog post, the expression you caught in #10 is just fabulous.

Hey guys, I picked up a second strobe today. Nikon SB-80dx or something...It's basically and older version which is on par with the 430EX I have. Works on both my camera, and with the Cactus triggers (although some gadget site said it wouldn't).

Anyways, I haven't got much to shoot, so here's the test shot.

430 bounced off the roof, SB 80 shot through some A4 paper to diffuse at 1/64. 100mm Macro, f9, 1/160 ISO 800 (I think).

Ps. Can I get some help with the colours? Does the image look flat at all? I don't have any calibrated monitors, and on all 3 I use they all look different. :(

Looks quite good actually, but then my monitors aren't properly calibrated yet either.

Cheers Dave, I over-saturated it on my HP monitor because on my mac it looked really flat. I should really just buy that spyder program.

It's actually one less letter :-)

Anyway, calibrating isn't an option, it's an essential. We spend a fortune on glass and bodies and nothing like enough on the processing end of the equation, IMHO.
