The glass panels on non-1D series cameras are user-replaceable. I've seen other forumites here discuss this before, where they just order a replacement panel from Canon, 'suction out' the existing one and push the new one in with some adhesive on the side. Not sure if you can do this with the 1D series but I imagine doing it yourself or sending it in - both ain't gonna cost too much. Col | Flickr
