Tax.

That is all.

Nice one Clarence! Looks really good.

Eh, I haven't paid tax in a while... while I'm stopping in here's one from tonight's efforts:

Looking good Jim. Petrol tank's a bit blown, but it still works.

ZOMG! It's the frequency police!!!! :p

Bleh, I'll just buy whatever is cheaper/available when I can afford it...

Smarter to be legal AND buy the better option, I'd have thought.

I would say that the 5d2 centre is on par with 1d3 outer, and outer is a bit suss....

Depends, but I wasn't thrilled with it.

Does the 1D III have it? Cuz I find this a pretty useful feature..

Naturally :-)

There were actually two people with the exact same setup as me, both West staffers with kids at a competing school...

Say hi to Mal for me :-)

Hey, look, it's 5am again and I'm awake ... Have I mentioned lately how much I truly detest daylight savings? It's pitch black here and a total waste, we could be getting ready to go the beach for a morning romp, but noooo...daylight isn't for another 1.5 hours at least and I have to be to work at 7.

Stupid daylight savings time.

SO good to live in a state where DST isn't an issue.

Vic FTW! WA FTL!

Clarry, beautiful Lambo shots.

I agree with you Kristin, DST is just buttocks. From what I read, part of the reason DST is implaced is so that we use less electricity overall but according to a study, that isn't the case. We actually use more when DST is implemented. Lame.

Morning all. FYI, my insurance policy is with AON ... www.aon.com.au (external link)

It looks like www.photoinsurance.com.au (external link) is an AIPP-recommended broker too; for my policy the premiums seem to be about the same, I think.

Anyone know how much it's gonna cost me to have the glass panel replaced?? Has anyone had this happen before??

What makes this damage worse is, I have a beach wedding next weekend and I doubt I'll be able to have it fixed by then. Me thinks I'll be having to tape this injury for next weekend, really well.

Ugh.. Matt, that sucks. The glass panels on non-1D series cameras are user-replaceable. I've seen other forumites here discuss this before, where they just order a replacement panel from Canon, 'suction out' the existing one and push the new one in with some adhesive on the side. Not sure if you can do this with the 1D series but I imagine doing it yourself or sending it in - both ain't gonna cost too much.
