Woo! I'm starting to get my website/blog sorted out. I'm going to be using the blog to run the whole site eventually... What do you think so far(I've been working on it for half an hour!)?

A link may help: http://www.michaelhossen.com/blog/ (external link)

The banner looks messy, and there aren't any posts :p

Otherwise, not bad so far ;) Nice theme.

Haha, yeah trying to sort all of that stuff out. Just a test run before I put it on the main site.

Cheers though. :) I wonder where I got the idea for the theme from?? It's so bloody customisable and easy!

Tra la tra lee ... I think I might do this for my shopping:

5D II (I would consider a 5D if I could find one at a great price, but I haven't yet)
add some lighting stuff so I can expand my portrait offers with a plain background etc.

At least that's my thinking this morning at 0430...

Dunno if you will have problems, best to see what happens, remove RAM if no boot then troubleshoot....

What, no more 70-200!?

It's a tough choice but this system is losing out with the work I'm doing....but you've posted that lens.

Bastard!

Ack, stupid school, and not being able to drive :(
(hmmm, wondering if I could get the 16-35 and sell my 17-40 ending up in the green.....)

If your 17-40 is in excellent condition, I'll take it :)

For those of you who are into lighting, can I get some help if you have time today? Here's my thread

Clarence, if you haven't put that order in, I might want to add some to it :)

Mmmmm, ed can have my 17-40, I can have a 2.8 lens in that range (been wanting that anyways), we can all be a happy family
Hmmmmm, 17-40 vs 16-35.....
Something tells me I won't get the 16-35, because then ed would get a 17-40 and the EOS gods prohibit that

HAHA! Awwwwwww :(
;)

Theme is nice. i think the banner of images on front page should be thinner and maybe more of them. The welcome test is basically a bunch of dot points with every line ending in a "!"....what else can i say, except maybe make a sentance or two here

In general the language used throughout you site is very informal, and not in a relaxing layed back way but more of a "makes me nervous" way.. I believe that it is quite unprofessional, and anyone that wants to spend a bunch of money and more importantly trust you with the more important day of their lives will need to feel confident in you.

I like the idea of a blog, I have seen it done on a few other photographers websites and i think it works really well.

Goodluck!

Cheers Justin. Damn, I was going for the good informal feel... I'll have to get my sister to help me write it I think. :p Oh and that banner will eventually scroll through several sets of images.

Michael, maybe you wanna use something like what I have on my front page - a Flash applet which allows you to set your own slideshow.

All went Thursday. Told them I was unimpressed with their website still showing them.
