I love some of the images in the book (including yours, Dave), but sheesh the quality level is low in some sections.

Thinking especially of people shots ... boring light, boring images. *sigh* I thought we were better than that TBH!

Well it is book #3 isn't it? or #4? Maybe they used up all the *good* images in the previous ones

The people forum over at FredMiranda is interesting - really good stuff sometimes hardly gets a comment, but the favourites get heaps, even if those particular shots aren't that great, and if you REALLY want good comments, irrespective of the actual quality of the shot? Titties do it every time.

There are some really nice images in there ... some of them seem to put others to shame a bit, really...

As for Lenspens, you should definitely get one. I had no idea how cheap they were - literally a couple of bucks. Works great!

My choices are glossy 120 gms A4 or A5 or heavier 300 gms A5 ... both full colour double side thing. See, I'm pathetic, I can't even choose a size ROFL

You inspired me to climb my roof and grab shots of the sunset. DARN, my sensor needed a clean up!

I love getting some accidentally awesome effects.

This was from a Speedlite reflecting into a mirror. Lesson learnt - don't try to use a mirror as a high-gain bounce card

I also noticed that RAW files from the 1D2N are a lot more effective than the 5D output when it comes to the Lightroom noise reduction.
