Was out shooting some surfers at a surf competition in Newcastle today. Saw a few wedding parties come and go after photos at the beach and what not.

Nothing out of the ordinary, typically, until these blokes posed for this shot...

Forgive the quality, it's a pretty heavy crop at 840mm. You never know who is watching when you drop your strides in public!

Anyone been watching Sound Relief today? It's massive.

that's fair enough mate, but I still love vista. It works for me, and you should use what works for you too.

Nah, I love Vista too. I like everything about it and for what I've done, UAC has never annoyed me that much.

Went to the st pats day parade in town today. Not happy with any of my shots but oh well. Didnt help that it started to pour half way through.

Live view saved my skin here though, after running for cover I just held the camera above everyone (helps being nearly 6 foot 4) and prayed.

Really need a 70-200 of my own, dad was using his this morning so I had to take his 300L with me which was stupidly too long.

Yeah, its then, but the parade is usually the weekend before up here. Gets more people in it and out to watch it that way.

Interesting. If the weather is good, I might head in.
