I was staying out of it :-) (By actually processing some photos from yesterday. Serious.)

LOL...I've polished off a bottle of wine and I haven't left the seat in the last 90 minutes.

Things are moving slow!

I'm still processing from yesterday. At the beginning, I literally had 2,011 photos. Now, I've got 137 that I'm going to use and put up on my flickr and another 1,666 that I'm keeping but not using. That might get cut down even more if I can ever be bothered to go through them again, but maybe if I go through them again I'll find more that I want to use. Who knows.

Wow, that is a bargain. Surely you'd know you could at least get $1,500 out of a potential buyer?

I was thinking the same thing  I highly doubt he'd hold a 5D for anyone. Someone will pick that up very soon.

I love live music photography, so I'm definitely going to pick up a 5D eventually and then get a 40D or 50D for sports. Then when I've got enough money, a 1D :D

There are a lot of people on Trading Post who have no idea. Someone else is selling a 20D + accessories for $2200. That one definitely falls into the "tell him he's dreaming" category.

If you are interested it wouldn't hurt to give the guy a call. If it's sold he might pull the ad if he gets sick of phone calls.

I picked up a 5D for $1050 a couple of months ago - so there are bargains to be had.

I wonder if brenno's $3800 1Ds Mark III turned out to be legit.

Woah! He's definitely dreaming.

I'd love to give him a call but I think I'll look for a 40D/50D first, that way it's still good for sports and music. If I got the 5D first, I'd be at the same level for sports as I am now with my 400D in terms of AF and fps, despite how much I'd love it for the music.

That is a bargain. A teacher at my school got his 5D for $1,800 about 18 months ago I think.

a question for anyone that's knows something about flashes/studio lights.

If i were to be using two studio lights/flashes, and wanted to use my 430EX as the hair light (with snoot), is there a way to do this? to trigger all the flashes? or would the only way be using wireless triggers?

i was going to trigger the studio lights by cable, because i cant afford the radio triggers as well as all the studio gear.

Optical triggers should do the trick.
