Wow... Interesting story... It seemed alright but hhmmm brand new and only joined that day and for $6K cheaper.. if only it was real!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, I did expect it all along, but I was holding out hope that somehow it would be legit.
Well scouted Brenno!
Cheers Philthy.
Hehe, bugger eh Matt... You gonna head up with the baseball bat to beat that old lady up?

Hahaha... No, I won't be Mike.
It's quite funny trying to talk ebay with someone in a generation that doesn't use the internet, and doesn't speak english much. She was polite enough to give me her daughters number who did speak english, and knew what ebay was. She cracked up when I told her her mother owes me a 1ds III for a bargain basement price.
That's a pain in the arse Matt.
I'll buy you a beer for thinking positively at the next POTN meet you attend.

Always good to do your research Ed, and I'm a little more cautious than the average punter I guess, having been stung before. Like I said in one of my earlier posts, the scammers are getting smarter, so we have to try to stay one step ahead.
Bugger!
Did the mobile number answer or go to voice mail? (from memory there was a mobile contact in the ad) If it did I'd be reporting them to the fraud squad.
No number in the ad Richard, otherwise I would have called it, and then reported it.

But, since it was only a month out of warranty he worked his magic and said it could be done for free.
