TAX. Drive to Apollo Bay. First two is at Split View Lighthouse if my memory serves well. The lighthouse and rear of the Prado was overexposed quite a bit. Managed to bring it down after some PPing.

Side note: I'm trying to use RedBubble but for some reason I can't get around to uploading any pictures. No dialogue box pops up that allows you to select your photos. Just says drag but that doesn't work either. Anyone know???

Nice tax. Prado ended up looking ok, as did the light house.

An interesting article on why you should buy Powerex/Imedion batteries: https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=677074

cheers, juice (Canon shooter, Elinchrom lighter, but pretty much agnostic on brands.)

Insane fish eye vids Clarry!

Al, neat video on the steady cam, although the content was repetitive, certainly gave a super smooth view.

Fungry, haven't used Rebubble for ages, so cant help you, but the 4by is far to clean...!

Al, Jim and the other motorbike riders out there

here is a link to a great Do It Yourself project, all you need is a spare 1/2 acre, and 850 shipping pallets! And I thought building a home made BG stand was tough!

Who wouldn't love a fisheye. I know I'd like one. But I have priorities! A body upgrade, for example

I'd like a body upgrade too. This one's too fat and its back is not the best.... :p:p:p:p:p

Haha I know what you mean :p

I'm bored and have nothing to do so I'm going to try making some kind of soft box for my flash and then get my DIY light box out and shoot something. Hopefully I get some good results, which really depends on what I'm shooting.

DIY stuff rocks! I still have to blacken up my softbox. Might do it tomorrow actually. Day off!

Same here. I don't feel like working either. Have to work out what's for dinner first.

Clearly you're not really working, Phil :p

I'm not at work, I came home from school at lunch. Free periods in year 12 are great, too bad I don't use them for study like they tell us to.

I'm using tracing paper for my background and base and it's nothing like what the results should be. I think I've got some normal white paper lying around somewhere though.

Edit: I found some black paper! I cut it down to size and it's good to go. And I made use of the tracing paper by putting it over the flash to diffuse the light better, it actually worked well! Although it's literally covering the flash, I might try and widen it now.

Haha yeah, definitely not. Some of my mates have already turned 18, one of them had a study period after lunch yesterday so he went to the TAB and won $30
