IIRC, those days were before we were introduced to photography ;) I wouldn't mind if I got a free $30 everyday!

Clearly you're not really working, Phil :p

I'm not at work, I came home from school at lunch. Free periods in year 12 are great, too bad I don't use them for study like they tell us to.

I'm using tracing paper for my background and base and it's nothing like what the results should be. I think I've got some normal white paper lying around somewhere though.

Edit: I found some black paper! I cut it down to size and it's good to go. And I made use of the tracing paper by putting it over the flash to diffuse the light better, it actually worked well! Although it's literally covering the flash, I might try and widen it now.

I'm trying to work? :p

Home time though!!! Lamb backstrap with a herb crust with creamy mash and steamed greens for dinner though. Mmmmmmmmm

You wish. :p

Lighting looks a little blown on the left side, and her eyes seem a little soft to me Damo. (Not sure if they're soft, but they look a little funny)

Alright guys, I need some help. I'm choosing between one of these four that I've taken for a media assignment. I'm not quite sure which one I want to use but I need to decide to use tomorrow.

Glenn,

NOT #1 as the white highlight from the light looks a bit out of place. Although I like the spinning lime effect :)
#2 looks nice. My favourite.
#3 could do with a bit of crop from the top to get rid of where the black bar starts. I think the lime is too dark.
#4, not sure if the colour works for it unless you do a luminance adjust on yellow/green levels to bring it up to be bright and obvious.

I was thinking number 2 as well, to be honest. I shot the flash head on in number 1 for some reason and liked everything but it. Didn't notice the bar at the top, which is actually the top of the fish tank that I used :p Not sure how well the last one would come out but I could try.

i like #1 the best, you can say the light is part of the story, no light, lime no grow..

I actually prefer #3, but would crop just below the top of the glass.
