Frames should already be at 40% now, but they haven't been moving much at all - I don't doubt they'll jump to 50 tomorrow.

I'd stay away from the SV series of Kodak frames if you're looking into them, quality isn't what it's cracked up to be. The M1020 and the W1020 are probably some of the nicest looking ones we've carried (Second only to the Sony's)

Yeah, the Sony ones are nice too. If I see either of the Kodak or Sony I'll prob pick up a few. Thanks for the heads up on the SV. Didn't think they were all that.

There were a bunch of Kodak ones available on Tuesday in my area. I hope they are still there when I go after work today.

I find this interesting:

I stopped in again today to see what is left. In one store, the entire camera display is about 95% sold out, BUT one 5d classic remains, body only, new in box. I found someone and inquired about the price, and was told $2100.00. This doesn't seem right to me, since this store is at 30% off on digital cameras. I wanted to get a price to see if it was worth checking back on in the unlikely event it is still there at 40% off, but I could swear this is the same price I was quoted at 20% off, and possibly at 10% off.

Zeabrid, if you wouldn't mind checking on the original price of a 5d body I would be curious. I'm wondering if they're confusing it with a kit price or something?

Alright, I'm going to offically put a hold on checking on anything for anyone for now. I've been incredibly sick the last week or two, busy with working 40-45 hours a week and going to school full time. I have about 10 PM's in my box I haven't even had a chance to open. Sorry, but we're too busy to stop and check.

I don't have a model number for the 5D, so I can't check, but a poster above me wrote it out. Like I've said before, chances are pretty good that not every person in the store knows every exact price (after different discounts), better to have someone scan it.

I picked up 2 Kodak digital frames today. 50% off, so they were $114 each. $148.95 at Amazon, so I saved a few dollars. They have a large supply of frames but a few people were buying when I went in.

Also got a APC Batter Backup, for $80 were Newegg is showing $189 for it.

Prices are looking good for some stuff.

If there are still any available next thursday, I may grab more depending on the discount.

No problem. The person I talked to didn't take it out of the case, but used the computer right next to the case it was in and typed in some number from the box to check the price. Maybe it will scan different, could be why it is still sitting there. If that's the case I'll just let them keep telling people the wrong price until it drops to 40%, then have someone scan it and see what happens.

P.S. Z-, hope you feel better soon, and find a better job. Everyone here thanks you for your input, it's been very enlightening... :)

Yeah, forgot to come back and tell you guys that frames dropped to 50% today, but I actually left work after only a few hours because I felt like this. Congrats on the savings, you shouldn't be disappointed in the frames. A lot of people could pick those up as great focal detail for their shops, studios, etc.

Another good deal is a Media Center extender. 50% off so only $75. Newegg has them for $249. Hmmm... I like what they can do, I just don't have the need for one... yet.
