Playing with a DVD-RW, and Balistic Nylon

I was playing around with my new (to me ) Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro, a piece of Ballistic Nylon ( the case from my new Sigma Flash ), and a blank DVD-RW.

This was basically a learning session, with DOF, Lighting and Shadows, and Color as my areas of study. Admittedly the color thing was a crap shoot, you know, twist a cd.dvd in the light and see the pretty colors.... , yeah, anyway, I could use it ( the color ), and the sharp edge of the DVD, and the curve of the disk,and nylon as elements in experiments in the " Rule of Thirds " and Composition so what the heck.

Here's what I came up with. Comments and Criticism welcome.

Looks like you had fun
Think I would prefer to see shots of the subjects singly - the textures and light on the wrapping look rather interesting and think the DVD detracts from that.
