Composite shot layers problems

Hi, I shot some Kitesurfing and have an 11 shot composite shot. I put it through stitcher unlimited to align them and output in a PSD format. I have the problem going on to the next step to paint the surfer back in. Any advice?

I take it you are planning to have each one slightly less transparent than the last until you get to the end one of the set? If so then simply use layer masks to hide everything but the surfer in each layer and then use the layer opacity to set each one as desired.

The transparency wouldnt worry me, its bringing out each one out to full. If I flood each shot with a black layer mask can I paint each surfer in?

I assume each of the eleven images is on a seperate layer with a layer mask?

If so, you can paint with white on the layer masks to reveal the surfer...
