CSR/(CSRB)
or
CSR+ /(CSRB+)

The CSR+ allows total compatibility with the Cyber Commander from what I understand. The way the descriptions are worded on PCB site is kind of confusing to me. I think I understand it though.

I'm not totally convinced that I would ever buy the Commander even though the features are quite compelling.

I bought a Sekonic L358 light meter last year and I never use it even with studio stuff.

I'm fed up with my Ebay Wizards after not being able to figure out why they have been causing frequent misfires here lately.

I don't think the CSR+ units are available yet.

I have the CSR/CSRB and love them. Rock solid and they work with everything so far. The + units will only work all that control stuff with AB strobes from what I understand.

I bought an extra transmitter to use with my Sekonic L-358. The transmitter is so small it drops in my shirt pocket.

+1. I wonder if lots of these are going to Iraq although they are not CE marked for Europe.

The +'s are available, came out right around the end of the year, mine just arrived yesterday. I got the CSRB+ as I do intend to buy the cybercommander as soon as it is available. I don't have a light metre yet, have been holding off until the CC is out, so I'll be using it for that, and I want it for the remote capabilities when shooting sports and my lights are out of reach. I have only tested them a bit so far, but so far so good.

If your flashes are Alien Bees by all means, get the Cypersync + They are only $20 more apiece and they will support the CyperCommander when it comes out. You may not think you want the remote control of lights now, but maybe sometime in the future you will.

They are shipping, I have four of them in my studio now.
