Just had to take the new lens downtown today. I'm enjoying the new fisheye, though I have to really get used to the unusual perspective. Nothing special with these shots; just me having fun learning the new lens.

Here's the fish:

And here's the same entrance with a normal lens from across the street:

Sweet, I just got a lens like that too. I haven't shot much with it yet though. Nice photos, I like the comparison. I'm looking to get down to Pittsburgh and get some nice shots of the city.

Man, the shot with the fisheye is wonderful. It says "C'mon In".

Its the Canon 15/2.8, Bruce.

Here's another from Downtown Chattanooga; Warehouse Row. I held up pretty well, even though the sun is just out of view to the left. There's a single flare spot over one of the top windows on the left side.

Hey Tom, I'm from Chattanooga, Tn. I live in Nashville now, but I still go there to see family. I'm due for a visit any weekend now. Just thought I'd say hey.

And another from a more opportune position, with the sun behind me and a bit to the right:

And again, but de-fished using PTLens plugin in PS Elements:

Its a great city - not too small, and not too big. Well, a little too small for a good Camera store, but still reasonably sized.

I'll be up in Nashville in about a month for a conference. I expect to get plenty of pictures there.
