C & C welcome. I was trying to be kinda artsy with the giant shuttlecocks on the lawn of the art gallery.

Wow, at first I thought you were using an ultra-wide angle lens on a normal-sized shuttlecock! :)

I prefer the first pic, it really does have a lot of impact.

I liked the camera angle you choose for both images. Just a thought, clonning out the large pin at the bottom of the shuttlecock that goes into the ground might add something to the picture without it being there. Maybe its just me but my eye always goes right to things like that :) Good pictures!

Thanks all ! I'll try your suggestions on cropping and cloning out the support pin. And yeah....these things are fun to shoot. They are about 15 feet tall....caused quite a "stir" in the art community here in Kansas City when they were placed on the lawn of the art gallery ! Thanks again for the comments.

Super fun :-). #1 for me... the second shuttlecock, and the better lit and more interesting features in the building, add up for a much stronger shot. Doesn't work perfectly though... the angles don't quite come together to provide enough ground to balance things, especially bottom right. Can't quite imagine how you could have done better though. Cheers, Tony

I agree with tonydee. "can't quite imagine how you could have done better".

I haven't been to the KC art museum in years (decades). Next time I'm in town I'll have to swing by.

Great pics.
