anybody know if there is a way to decrease the intensity of the flash on the 20D? i seem to have misplaced my owners manual...

That effectively gets you more flash range, even though you really are not changing the flash.

Another way to get less light in is to use a narrower aperture. actually, i'm a she, but that's ok. i understand light just fine. i have a photography assignment where i have to take 3 pictures- one with no flash, one with 1/2 stop flash fill, and one with one stop flash fill. thanks for the help though! I've never heard of anybody trying to decrease the intensity, only increase it.
