I'd love to take a look at your work and see comparisons between the two. I can see where Jam is coming from since I shoot a lot of concerts. High ISO performance will be better with the 5DII as well as detail rendered at high ISO. The latter gives you more freedom in processing the images, esp with NR. Also the 5DII images take well to pulling details out of the shadows. It all adds up to quite a difference for available light photographers. I don't know if I would call it a spectacular difference, but it is certainly there.
