Hi Guys and Gals.
I took this picture of wife late in the day after she was thouroughly tired.
But as it turns uut we both like it but I can't figure out how to crop this.
Her crazy hair doesn't help although I kinda like it.

So please give me some croping ideas or if you think I should leave it then say that........whatever you do just done mention my circa 1980 wallpaper .

Thanks
tommy

The composition is perfect. I would not crop this at all. Remember, sometimes negative space is useful, and can add power and interest to an image. BTW, the exposure/lighting is spot on. Great image.

Oh yeah, what's wrong with 80's wallpaper?! :D

I'm in agreement. Good capture. Nothing distracting to crop out since she steals the show. Leave well enough alone.

The only suggestion I would make is to maybe clone out the seam in the wallpaper to make it all look like more of a backdrop. Nice shot.

Thanks all of you guys for your kind words.... I think I will try and clone out the crease and see how that looks.

Ooh and there is nothing worng with 80's style wall paper unless you happen to be fortunate enough to end with the stuff everywhere you move:p

I played around with it a bit, just for fun, try a 1:1 ratio, (Square) real tight on the face, her face is then nearly a diagonal in the frame, which is always nice.

You should've posted it up Zazoh. I tried a couple of crops and didn't really like it, not sure what it was. The crops just never seemed right.

Ya, ultimately I decided it wasn't as good as yours .... just thought it was another way to do it is all.

Well Thanks all of you guys. For the reassurance that I wasn't crazy about not being able to crop this pic and for all the compliments. Thank you.
Tommy :)
