That was my plan, but I was going 800 green, 400 yellow, 1600 pink. Then I started changing out for white lightning before I got too far on them.

Gear- Why do you care? If my image is good it's good, if it sucks it sucks. It's most likely my own fault.

Don't get me wrong, I really like the Bees, I have three 800's, but once I got a White Lightning I will never buy another Bee. For the few extra dollars you get a light that can cover the entire 400,800,1600 range. I wish I would have started with them in the first place. And they come with a very nice carry bag too :)

Hey Folks! I am going to have to say I am now a proud owner of Two 800! I picked them both up for 425, including stands. I am Happy! Now I have to get some shooting done. Wish me luck tonight. We will see whats going down.

Ok - so if I want to go wireless with my AB's, what do you guys recommend for triggers? I would still love to use my 580ex still and figure out a way around that lol

Cybersyncs work great. You can even use the CSRB or CSRB+ to trigger a 580EX too.

Did a 6 hour shoot today. Halfway done editing the photos and video from it.

I'm not sure if I want to get the large softbox or large octabox first...main reasoning would be pricing. Thoughts?
