Well still have not got the chance to use these yet except for a product shoot. Here are a few snap shots of my Daughter from today as I was messing around. AB1600 with BD.

Lol. I was thinking the same thing, Pham.

Dan, those pics are awesome. The last one is a very cute pose for kids and adults alike. I'm storing that in my memory as well.

Major kudos for AlienBee's customer service. Last week when I got my order I posted that the 1600 was firing all over the place randomly. The shipped out a new one Thursday and I got it Friday and it worked perfectly. They knew I had a party on Saturday and being down one Bee wasn't good they overnighted on their dime a new 1600 which wasn't cheap. Around $60 for shipping.

Nice! I've already experienced their awesome customer service first hand before over something minor but your story definitely shows how willing they are to please their customers.

I feel like I don't need one, but that if I did get one, I would find myself seeking out ways to use the Bees that I didn't/couldn't before. Even indoors, it's got to make things handier sometimes.

Todd,
.....yep....and then you start thinking, "well, if I had this softbox....or that reflector....and then if I had another light..." ......and so it goes. It's all good though, it's some serious fun !

I can't wait to get my bees and vagabond! I don't really mind the fact of lugging around the bees and vagabond because of the awesome setups I could do with them on location, especially for senior shoots.

muskydave .. so what you mean to tell me is that I dont need to put receiver to all the lights .. if I just use a flash like the 430EX II it will set all the other lights off?

man Im dumb .... is there anything I need to do for this to happen?

Ivan, yes, you can trigger it using your speedlight if shooting in a studio. BUT this will be hard if you're shooting outdoors.
