Just out of curiosity, why one of each type of receiver?

The CSR+ run off the A/C current used to run the light, no need to change batteries. The CSRB+ is battery powered and works great for running non-A/C powered strobes.

I understand that, I have some CyberSync's myself, I just thought it odd to get one of each when buying two strobes.

I got 2 CSR+ and 2 CSRB+ and 2 CST when I got my pair of B800's. The CSRs are for the Bees obviously, one CSRB is for the 580EX, and the other CSRB is a spare which can function for either A/C or battery powered stuff and maybe even trigger the camera?

If you have a 58oEX or Vivitars and don't have the budget for dedicated A/C and battery receivers, then one of each should run both Bees fine and still allow ya to use your portable flash unit remotely when you can't use your Bees.

Like the other guy explain .. when I was on the phone the lady told me just to get the CSR for the B800/B400 and the CSRB+ just in case later on I decide to add a flash to the kit .. She also stated that if I was to get a flash later on there will be no need to add another receiver as it be a waste of money because I can just attach the CSR+ to one of the AB's and the CSRB+ to the flash then the other AB just wired it to the camera and that will work find ...

She also stated that I didn't need to get the + but it be nice to have for the new transmitter that will have light meter and its coming soon ..

Well I'm clueless to what I'm saying but this was how she explained it to me .. so yeah .. I might go ahead and do that!

That will work fine. I switch between flash and strobes so I just got 3 CSRB's so that I would always have the option with whatever I was using.

I got CSRB's too. Maybe I should have gone with the CSR's. Meh...batteries last long and they're cheap enough when they need replacing.

The first two are straight off the camera. The last two have been touched up a bit in Lightroom.
