Did that with another bee, but this box is pretty heavy. If you pull out the lever, it will rotate freely so you can crank it more. Just grab it and pull it straight out. I figured this out after noticing the same thing with the tightening lever on my Manfrotto 486 ballhead. Every once in a while I won't be able to turn the lever 100% tight because it hits part of the tripod or whatever. Just pull out perpendicularly, and you can reposition the lever. Kind of like you would do if you had a wrench and you were tightening a nut (which, in effect, is what you're doing). The lever is spring loaded so it will pull back into place once you've moved it.
