Haha you think it's better to save up and wait for the cybersyncs? What is so much better about them?

What is so much better about them? They fire every time, every time no misfires at all. From greater distances and at the full sync speed of the camera. Never got that from the cactus.

Haven't had a misfire! and they offer great range. Most of us don't need the crazy range of pocketwizards, so cybersyncs are the next best thing! Dave But Cybersyncs have pretty good range and go through most walls. Very happy with my CS. I used to have Cactus V2s and they would misfire every now and then. Had a paid shoot to do and couldn't trust the Cactus. But on the flip side, Cactus is a good way to go to learn if you don't ever plan to go beyond just shooting for yourself. Great stuff lately guys! I have my first shoot tomorrow with a model who I met on Model Mayhem, and I have another shoot this weekend. I'm really excited, but I'm also nervous. I want to make sure I get quality images!! Do you all have any tips or pointers/things to keep in mind? Thanks. Unless you're under pressure to work quickly then just work carefully, slowly and methodically. Pay attention to composition and camera settings. If you're using a light meter make sure it's calibrated. If not then make sure you know how to interpret the LCS and histogram on your camera. Be careful not to blow out highlights and not to clip specular highlights. Robert

It helps to have a personal relationship with them that what you can get an idea of how they act so you can bring out their personality in the photos. -JOSHUADAHL

Also, someone suggested a release form stating what kind of rights the model had to my images... I guess I should draft something like that, too...
