Ok, I know I've posted a lot from this shoot, so I think this will be the final one... Haha I spent all the time cloning out the light stand, so I might as well post it... Right...? Let me know what you think!

It looks much better large & on black: http://bighugelabs.com …?id=4455983763&size=large (external link)

Agreed. It's a beautiful shot but perspective gets weird with the hand so far forward like that.

lets see.. it was the 70-200 2.8 lens.. and i might have had it racked out to 180mm.. @ 3.2? that type of compression would jack up the hands alittle..

your supposed to look at her face not her hands.. LOL.. :)

LOL...cute face, but she wearing too much for me to miss stuff like weird hands ;)
I'm surprised the hands look so funky at 180mm...

It's perspective and focal plane that is making it look like that, not focal length.

I thought perspective distortion was a nonissue at longer focal lengths like 180mm? (longer focal length causes you to stay far enough away)
Focal plane is causing the blurout obviously...

It's less of an issue but depending on the position of the camera you can induce it and that's evident by the enlarged or exaggerated hand.
