I've been using them. Ive posted a couple different shots that used Einsteins

Just found the B&W of Megan. Amazing, and it was a test shot! Love that. Would love to hear some feedback on the color photo's you've done with them.

Thank you. Well, I brought the Einsteins to a charity event yesterday. Took over 600 photos for low income and the homeless in the community, and printed the pictures, free of charge, The Einsteins worked perfectly, and had no problems all day long.

I'll definitely be getting a third one soon.

For more info on the event, I have a post about it on my website

The receiver is for a 580exII and the transceivers plug directly into the Einstein's I think.

Yeah, he read it wrong, you are correct, you have the two modules for the einstein and another receiver for the 580ex... though you probably don't need the "plus" model for that, however, you will want another "plus" receiver for the ABR.
Also, the separate CST transmitter is nice to have as it's smaller on the camera after you get everything set up, then keep the Commander in your pocket or a little cellphone pouch

Well, it took around three days to go through this entire thread, but I did it. I have to say that all the work I've seen is very impressive! As such, I believe I am going to step up my lighting gear. What I would like to know from some of the more experienced AB user is the "Busy Bee" kit too much for someone that isn't all that familiar with this type of lighting? I've been using a couple of 580EX II's & a 430EX with mixed results but I think with some better lighting, my results will increase exponentially. The list consists of:

2 B800 Black Studio Flash
2 B800 Yellow Studio Flash
4 CB1 Single Light Carrying Bags
2 LS3900 13' Heavy Duty Stands
1 LS3050 10-foot General Purpose Light Stand
1 LS1100 Backlight Stand
1 FSB3060 30" x 60" Foldable Giant Softbox (with LGSR speedring)
1 LG4X Four-Channel Wired Remote Control
1 U48SW 48-inch Silver/White Reversible Bounce Umbrella
1 U48TWB 48-inch Translucent White “Shoot-Thru” Umbrella
1 HGX4 Set of Four Honeycomb Grids (10º, 20º, 30º and 40º)
1 LSB48 48-inch Light Stand Carrying Bag
1 Vagabond II Portable Power System
1 22-inch High Output Beauty Dish

Thanks...and again, great work to everyone that has added images to this thread! I'm thoroughly impressed and inspired!!

Was included with the package deal. I do have three PW Plus II. Was either going to sell them and go with the cybersync or keep them and just purchase one more. Which is better for controlling the AB's or will they both work equally well?

The PWs will work with the ABs too. either of those 2 will be fine.

IMO, there's no such thing as too much for a novice if you can afford it. Go for it. Why don't you just order them a la carte and get rid of the LG4X. you'll still get the same discount as buying as a package.

btw, i would also suggest getting an air cushioned light stand.

vinnie6756,

That is almost my setup to the letter (but I use skyports). I am new also, and I still want more. I did buy the strip box which I also love! The barndoors are also nice!

No matter how much you buy, you will always want more!!!
