Its the original BD that AlienBee's no longer makes. It has a white interior, and in that picture, it appears that he is not using the sock.

Thanks! Is there much difference between the old and the new? I was thinking about getting one around Christmas, just not sure on the brand to get. Everything I have is PCB and I've been happy so far...

Well, I have an old one aswell, so I havent tried the newer one. But from what I can tell, is that the design and shape is entirely different. Though I know people have have a white newer BD from them and say it does the job, and has similar effects as the old one.

i think i read in here about someone saying the newer BD are not as great in quality as the previous ones.
