LOL.. i am getting mine in a couple days.. wow.. that was a long wait to get my back up 64 PLM.. @ AirButchie.. i really like how you light your shoes.. phamster Is that the white or the silver? I got my silver 86 that I ordered back in may about a month ago. Its fantastic, but I didnt realize just how much of a monster it was going to be. I think I will order the 64 in white after the backlog is cleared.

The only reason for me to get a PLM is to get a larger light source modifier at this point as I quite like my 47" Octa. The 86" is huge. Way too big IMO. Ryan O. Hicks

Get out a ruler and pull out 86" across your floor. That's how big it is. oh wow... that is big.... sometimes i know the listed size isn't actually how big the modifier is on the face/front of it... so i just wanted to check.... ---Jay---

Just to repeat this again.... for the PLM's the the face/front actually measures across the size listed for them? No, I think they are measured off the back arc per the website, but its still honkin huge. I mean I wanted huge, but its too big to use in my house with normal ceiling heights.

I will get the PLM 64 then... it should be a larger (large enough) light source then my 47" Octa when I need it. ---Jay---

Called today and an 86 and 64" silver are on the way. Already have the 51" silver and two 51" white with spill kill. I didn't like the back cover for the white in V1 so decided not to get them in larger sizes in V2. Now I have to figure out what to do with my V1 PLMs. And CS said my two backordered E640s are going to ship next week as well. Wait until you see the PITA new mounting system. You might just want to keep the old ones.

You might just want to keep the old ones. I'm looking forward to it. The last one was weak. This is supposed to be more supportive of the shaft so it doesn't break. Which is how mine broke. If you've used a 60" SL2 it is the same thing just a tad bit bigger. Octaboxes will give you more contrasty light than the PLM. Ryan O. Hicks
