Playing with the 100-400 and 2x TC

I wanted to play a little bit with this combination just to see what kind of pictures would come out. It wasn't ideal lighting (overcast & later in the afternoon), so I had to push the ISO to 3200 to get respectable shutter speeds. With the TC, I was limited to F11 and manual focus. Granted, the detail isn't quite there, and NR was applied in PP, but these came out a little better than I thought they might. All were shot with the 50D.
(Sorry they're not a little bigger. Picasa is making me mad resizing them on their site.)
