I'm looking for the leather, surround case or shoe for a g3. this looks like the ones that were for old slr 35mm cameras with a metal button that keeps the lens cover on. The buttons and controls on the camera are still exposed on this case... I'm not sure what to call it. Anyone help me out?

maybe... are the buttons exposed underneith the lens cover? The one I saw was mostly leather, even the lens cover.

Closest I've seen is the Canon case PS7001, but I think the camera must be taken out in order to take picture. EOS 5D, EOS 30D, EOS 3, PowerShot G6
