Hard leather "shoe" for powershot g3

I've seen someone post the picture before here, but can't find it in the forum... I'm looking for the leather, surround case or shoe for a g3. this looks like the ones that were for old slr 35mm cameras with a metal button that keeps the lens cover on. The buttons and controls on the camera are still exposed on this case... I'm not sure what to call it. Anyone help me out?

maybe... are the buttons exposed underneith the lens cover? The one I saw was mostly leather, even the lens cover.

Yes. The cover is in two parts. The top comes off to expose all the buttons to operate the camera. The bottom portion is attached at the tripod mount.

Does somebody know if there is such a version available for G6? Closest I've seen is the Canon case PS7001, but I think the camera must be taken out in order to take picture.
