Question,File transfer speed on 5d vs 40D

I just upgrade to 5d from 40d, I found when transfer pictures to computers, 5d is MUCH slower than my 40d, is it the way it is? If I buy a sandisk IV 4gb, will that improve the writing speed a lot?

Are you using a card reader...or usb cable to the camera...?

I'm guessing USB because you wouldn't be able to tell the differece between the two otherwise.
The 40D will spit them out faster via USB, but I don't recommend doing it that way.

Spend $5-$10 and get a Card Reader. This is MUCH faster and causes less errors. Also doesn't use your cameras battery power.
