Elements 4.0 vs 5.0

I recently purchased a new 2.4GHz MacBook and am trying to decide which software to use for PP. My Bamboo Fun came with PSE 5.0 for windows and 4.0 for Mac. I was using 5.0 for the last few months and found it took care of most of my needs.

My question is this; if I purchase Aperture 2 and run it with elements 4.0 & DPP will that be a pretty good combo? Elements 6.0 is the highest PSE program currently available for Mac but I really don't want to spend the money on it if I don't have to. Does Elements 6 offer anything great over 4.0? Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

Elements 6 on a MAC, according to another thread I read yesterday, gives you Adobe Bridge as well.

There are free trials on all though, so might as well use it for 30 days for free anyway.

I hate the new design of Elements, the old GUI was better. It seems to run slow on my Mac too.

I have no experience with Bridge so can someone tell me what this particular program would gain me? Does Elements 6 have any specific editing benefits vs Elements 4.0?
