Great) egret in flight!

Hello

Ive made a lucky shot on a Great egret (rare in the Netherlands)!
What makes it more special that it is a close up shot with
the 17-55 IS USM Lens on a 40D.... I left the 100-400 IS at home....

I saw the bird standing behind tall grass.. i approached it and got close ( a few feet)!
