This one isnt as bad as the others though. So who wants to take a guess when BH will get any more of these bad boys in. Ive been waiting for quite a while now, and this money is burning a whole in my pocket. If they dont get some in soon, i may end up buying a lens instead. So anybody got any guesses when theyll be takin orders?

5DmkII, Elan7ne, 430ex, 100 f2.8 macro, and 24-105L, and nifty fifty. 16-35 or 70-200 not sure yet...

That one's broke. The picts aren't any better than a 40d. Stay away!

When I got mine at Adorama, I did a back-order. It showed up in less than a week. They never showed stock. Same with the battery they just shipped yesterday. Ordered it over a week ago. They still don't show stock today. Just sayin, you might want to place an order with them, and be on their back-order list.

You might want to check the link again. I think you're thinking of a different 5DII. ;)

Good to know. I know Adorama was showing stock for a bit this past weekend when I ordered. I'll probably get on the list for an extra battery though...seems like one of those might come in handy.

This is a little OT, but have you heard anything about the non-Canon batteries, and whether they actually work or not?

doh! You're right, wrong thread. :)

Looking back, it took them about a week and a half from order to ship, for the battery. I can't wait. I've been topping off the original when ever its 60% or less.

I haven't heard much about the non-canon batteries - i keep looking for info tho because I'd like to not spend so much for a spare. Hasn't been my top priority tho.

would love to hear experiences from anyone tho... please pass any along or update the wiki
