Pure luck I think as it was blowing a gale too so I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it came out

Wow, that is amazing. Must have taken some serious patience, and well worth it too.

Where did you take that from? The mountain all the way to the right looks like Pen yr Ola Wen, but none of the others fit (you'd be standing next to Lake Idwal)...
Mind you the one all the way to the right could be Tryfan...

Very nice panaorama btw!

Yes it does look strange when you know the area, and not knowing which lake is which, without looking at a map lol, I can't help you with the names. It is Tryfan on the right which should really be on the left but iot is a 360 ;)

I went up the path next to the Wardens hut half way up the Ogwen Pass and carried on until I was about 150 yards away from the "top" lake and set up my gear there.......

D4VE

I have had problems in the past with using the 10-22mm lens and then stitching but CS3 seems to have got over this problem with the wide angle lenses but it did take approximately 40+ minutes for the program to get it all together........ I should also say that I am well impressed with the straighness of the image as I thought it may be off after being stitched but it was worth worth the time and effort getting it all set up properly to get the end result.

Thanks for everyones comments they are very appreciated.......

Ahh, now I getcha - yep couldn't get my head around the 360 thing. Very nice, :) and feeling just a bit jealous, a visit home involves nearly 4 hours driving for me these days :(
