Nice shots Harm.

Two inches of snow last night. Anyone else in the WA/OR area get any?

We had a few inches in Sandy this morning. It all pretty much melted off, but it has been attempting to snow on and off all day.

Thanks, she had to get her first shots yesterday :( that was quite the experience...

The nurse said "I could use some help if you're up to it." Which translated to, "I'd like you to hold your daughters arms and legs down while I stab her in the leg 3 times with needles and she squirms and screams really hard."

Fun stuff.

Been there done that times 2 my friend.... never gets any easier....

Yeah, we're not looking forward to the 4 month appointment. But, its for her own good so it has to be done. I was bummed that I forgot my camera when we went, but in retrospect I don't think I'd really want pictures of that anyway.

If anyone deserves a little time off, you certainly do. I know this is a labor of love, but there can be too much of a good thing.

Thanks for what you do, what you've done, and (I'm sure) what's to come.

FOrtunately the appointments space out as they get older... that is nice... But yes it is what she needs!

Hey Dan,

Maybe we can have a "best of" re-run series while you're taking your much-deserved break?

We had about 3 inches here when I woke up. I passed a car on the way to work that had well over 6 inches on it.

Fun day. My brother's in town, and we've just spent the day driving around and eating. We had lunch at the IW Club, a local eatery connected with the Indian Wells Golf Resort. The restaurant is on the second floor above the pro shop and club house.

After eating, we stepped out onto the veranda, and I took the following picture with my G10. I was really disappointed, nay, shocked at the amount of CA. I'd be interested if you guys think this is acceptable (look at the tree trunks).

And a crop.....

I think this one might be going back to Canon. :(:(

Yikes! That's wild!

Perhaps it was meant for the PNW and wasn't calibrated for sun. :)
